The first step to doing this job you need to have the concrete pressure washed to get all the impurities like dirt and mold off of it.

Second step once cleaned and still wet you need to etch the concrete with muriatic acid for maximum bonding of stain/paint to concrete. Do not let the acid dry, let dwell for 5 minutes and rinse with fresh water well, let concrete dry.

Third step, once dry tape off any that meet to the pad, also if your painting driveway with garage door lift door up and tape a straight line where the door sits. This will give you a sharp line and look vey professional when finished.

Step four, have a standard paint roller with a handle screwed onto it, add your desired paint/stain to a rolling pan and start rolling the driveway. Don’t put paint on too thick, we are putting two coats on the concrete. Start at either the bottom or the top that way when you’ve finished the area you began at will be set up and ready for the next coat. Apply the second coat and let dry. Clean off all tools used and you’re finished. Just pull tape when paint is dry and that’s it.
